Christmas Eve 2005

We had a whirlwind of a day on Christmas Eve, but RaRa, Mama and Jeremiah managed to escape for a couple of hours before the big dinner.

We went into Colonial Williamsburg and we really did have a great time. I believe this will become a new tradition for the Davis Family.

The weather was magnificent and Jeremiah met his first horse. We danced to Christmas music from live performers and had our picture taken with Santa (who remarked on Jeremiah's beautiful blue eyes).

Time Time Who's Got The Time?

We've had drama, we've had sickness, we've had Dr appointments and tantrums.
What we haven't had is time to update here!

I've actually tried making some picture posts about Christmas but each time I tried there was some issue with the "add image" button and I couldn't get through.
Hopefully whatever was wrong is resolved now. It's still going to take me a little time to make some posts so please be patient with me. I'm going to have to do a little at a time and then make the updates once I'm finished. I'll get started tomorrow.

Dear Jeremiah,

On this day in history - Monday, January 2, 2006 you began potty training!
I wasn't sure how you'd take to it but when your Daddy and I went shopping on Sunday we picked out your very own little potty chair.

The first two times you sat on it you cried briefly, but then we made up The Potty Song and wiped those tears out of your baby blues.

I honestly did not expect anything to happen today but by the third time on the potty chair today - YOU WENT POTTY! We had a nice little celebration (singing, dancing, clapping and hugging). That was it for today, the rest of our tries yielded nothing but we sure were excited to look in the potty to see if you'd made a deposit.
